Registration

Ottawa Valley Girls Hockey is pleased to announce our 2024/2025 season.

Competitive team tryouts are scheduled to begin August 2024 and house teams are scheduled to begin practicing after Labour Day weekend.  We are attempting to field teams at the following age groups and levels:

Player Registration Fees for 2024 - 2025 Season

• House Teams - $650 total (exception for U9 which is $525), $300 at time of registration and $350 by September 30, 2024.
• Competitive Teams - $1635 total, $435 prior to July 15, 2024 which includes tryout fee. The remaining balance to be paid via eTransfer  - $300 by Sept. 30; $200 by Oct. 31; $300 by Nov. 30; $200 by Dec. 31; $200 by Jan. 31, 2025.

All payments to be in form of eTransfers sent to treasurer@girlshockey.ca .

*All competitive teams will have league play against Ottawa and area-based teams. Approximately 2-4 hours of ice times per week and 3 tournaments.  Registration Deadline is July 15, 2024.
*We have budgeted for teams/groups of 17 players, and need a minimum of 12 players to form a team*
*Some parents have indicated that they are willing to volunteer, we will be in contact, but head coaches are still needed. If you are interested in a head coach position, please contact president@girlshockey.ca immediately.*

2024/2025 registration fees will cover player ice time (practices and games), OWHA fees/insurance, referee fees, tournaments (1 House, 3-4 Competitive), and association administration fees. If a team qualifies for the Provincial tournament in April 2025, they will need to fundraise or collect more fees to cover those expenses.  We are planning to have ice times in Pembroke, Cobden, Petawawa, Renfrew, and possibly Westmeath and Eganville. 

All Players need to be registered within RAMP and our association before they can step on the ice.

Deadline for registration is July 15, 2024 for Competitive teams, and September 10, 2024 for House teams. Please follow the link below to register your player and send eTransfer to treasurer@girlshockey.ca
