Ottawa Valley Girls Hockey is pleased to announce our 2023/2024 season.

Competitive team tryouts are scheduled to begin April 2023 and house teams are scheduled to begin practicing after Labour Day weekend. We are attempting to field teams at the following age groups and levels:

U18 Competitive A and B (2008, 2007, 2006)	U15 Competitive A and C (2010, 2009)	U13 Competitive B (2012, 2011)
U18 House (2008, 2007, 2006) - Coach required	U15 House (2010, 2009) - Coach required	U13 House (2012, 2011) - Coach required

Player Registration Fees for 2023 - 2024 Season

House Teams - $650 total, $300 at time of registration and $350 by September 30, 2023.
Competitive Teams - $1560 total, $360 at time of registration. The remaining balance of $1200 to be paid via eTransfer - $300 by Sept. 30, 2023; $200 by Oct. 31, 2023; $300 by Nov. 30, 2023; $200 by Dec. 31 2023; $200 by Jan. 31, 2024.

All teams will have league play against Ottawa and area-based teams. Only exception will be at the house level if more than one team can be formed and we can then have an inter-house program
We have budgeted for teams/groups of 16 players, and need a minimum of 12 players to form a team
Some parents have indicated that they are willing to volunteer, we will be in contact, but head coaches are still needed. If you are interested in a head coach position, please contact president@girlshockey.ca immediately.

2023/2024 registration fees will cover player ice time (practices and games), OWHA fees/insurance, referee fees, tournaments (1 House, 3-4 Competitive), and association administration fees. If a team qualifies for the Provincial tournament in April 2024, they will need to fundraise or collect more fees to cover those expenses. We are planning to have ice times in Pembroke, Cobden, Petawawa, Renfrew, and possibly Westmeath and Eganville.

All Players need to be registered within RAMP and our association before they can step on the ice.

Deadline for registration is June 25, 2023 for Competitive teams, and July 15, 2023 for House teams. Payment due at the time of registration is $300 House and $360 for Competitive - Please follow the link below to register your player and send eTransfer to colinthundertreasurer@gmail.com.
